Adventure Day 1: The Mall of America

I have to say one thing about the Minneapolis airport.  They have it together.  I was very impressed!  I was off the plane, had my baggage and was meeting Shotgun for my ride in less than 15 minutes.  Well done Minneapolis!

I'd never been to the Mall of America before and we were both hungry so Shotgun steered us straight there.  We don't have Panda Express in AK so I couldn't wait for some of their noodles!  My fortune cookie told me this...
It's like they KNOW!
While looking for some new foundation powder, I got a mini makeover!  Henri and the other staff at the Lancome´ counter in Nordstrom were  great! Thank you so much! I love my new makeup!

We found these funny erasers in a very neat little stationary store.

So hipster in our glasses.

Love this!

The lego sculptures were insane.  My hat's off to you lego builders!

Shotgun posing with the massive lego displays.

The open stock lego wall in the Lego store.  Every color you can imagine!
This is in the center of the ceiling in part of the mall near the aquarium.  I believe it's a fan or a speaker maybe?  Either way, I thought that it was a beautiful architectural piece.

For dinner we hit the Rainforest Cafe and we sat right next to the waterfall.  The water made  it  so cool and nice! Loved it!
Well of course we had to have drinks with our dinner to get the souvenir glasses!

My kids are too old for the Nickelodeon Universe in the center of the mall but it was very cool to check out.  The mall was very fun to visit.  So many interesting things to see!

After a long day of shopping, we came out to find the Weinermobile parked near our truck.  Obviously we needed to get a photo!  As we stood for the picture a man started singing the Oscar Mayer weiner song and it's still stuck in my head.
